Braidr recognised with two gold wins at DataComms Awards 2025

We believe in data that gives brands a competitive edge, lights up hidden potential, and opens up entirely new ways of thinking.

After a packed day at the DataComms Live Conference – where our own James Wolman, Head of Data Science at Braidr, and Jamie Klingler, CCO at Tomorrow, took the stage – we closed out with an incredible moment of recognition at the 2025 DataComms Awards.

We’re proud to share that we took home two gold awards – Best Data-Driven Competitive Intelligence for our real-time insight platform Luminr, and Most Innovative Use of Data for our collaboration with The Clermont Hotel Group. 

And if that wasn’t enough, we also picked up a bronze for Most Innovative Format to Display Data for our TikTok trend visualisation and how we bring clarity to complex insights.

This year’s competition was exceptionally impressive. And there was something truly special about seeing our team’s work recognised in a room full of the industry’s best. 

From the drive that powers our work behind the scenes to the energy and laughter we shared around the table that evening, the night captured exactly who we are: future-focused, quietly confident, and endlessly ambitious.

Our recognition in the Best Data-Driven Competitive Intelligence category highlights the evolution of Luminr – our cutting-edge technology that has grown from a bold concept into a mission-critical platform for brands navigating fast-moving markets. Visibility and consumer behaviour shift by the minute. Luminr captures every search, enabling brands to act with clarity, speed, and precision through real-time competitive insight.

In the Most Innovative Use of Data category, we partnered with The Clermont Hotel Group to reimagine the guest experience using data. Together, we built a system that replaces generic tourist recommendations with personalised, locally informed suggestions. By putting authentic local knowledge directly in front of hotel guests at key decision moments, we’re helping travellers move beyond the obvious and discover cities in more meaningful, memorable ways.

Our entry for Most Innovative Format to Display Data reflects our commitment to making data not only accessible but compelling. From intuitive boardroom dashboards to a now-iconic TikTok trend visualisation, Luminr bridges the gap between complexity and clarity. We focus on making data simple and relevant, so decision-makers don’t just understand the insights, they’re moved to act on them.

Final thoughts

Awards are a marker, not a finish line. They show us what’s possible, but they also raise the bar. We’re not stopping here. We’re building even more powerful ways to help brands uncover competitive advantage, engage audiences, and make data decisions with confidence.
